Find your Ideal Travel Photographer with Picturo

In case you haven’t noticed from this blog; I like to travel. It makes me feel free, happy, and alive. I mostly travel with friends or family, and I am completely honest when I say that I care about them all.  However, there is always one thing I can’t seem to get right with them; The photographs.

I love making travel-related content, both on this website and my social media. But, in order to be able to sustain that and to tell my stories the way I want to, I need quality photographs that capture the feelings I want to. This is actually a lot harder than it may sound like.

Let me know if this sounds like you: You have finally managed to visit your dream holiday destinations like Santorini or Mykonos, or you are wandering the cozy streets around the Acropolis in Athens. After a while, you find what seems to be the ideal place to take that one photograph. But then, you spend the next 15 minutes trying to explain your concept to your travel buddies. This has happened to me a lot of times! And being a blogger makes it a lot more difficult. However, when I was searching for a photographer for a project for my blog, I came across Picturo. I was able to browse through the best photographers in Athens, and I believe that I found my solution. I think that I discovered a life hack and I cannot wait to share that with you!

So, what is Picturo?

Picturo is an online website that makes it really easy for you to connect with photographers and book a photoshoot during your travels. They have basically created an online space where you can find all the available photographers at the destination of your choice. No more need to spend countless hours searching on Google or scrolling through Instagram to find the photographer that matches your vision and style. They are all about comfort and efficiency.

Picturo is the ideal photogrqphy place for both tourists and locals alike. The website is very well organized to cover all kinds of photography such as Couples, Solo Travelers, Weddings, Families, Proposals, Flying Dresses and many more. “One application for every occasion” would be the perfect way for me to describe it!

Where is Picturo Available?

While they are currently only available in Greece, their aim is to expand soon in many major countries all across Europe!

Greece is one of the biggest touristic hubs in Europe, with millions choosing it as their ideal travel destination each year. It only makes sense for the travel photography scene to be well-developed. So, having all the available photographers in one place makes things extremely easier. 

The best part is that they cover many major places in Greece, such as Athens, Thessaloniki, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, and Corfu. Imagine having your photos at the pristine beaches of Crete, the white tower of Thessaloniki, or the Volcano of Santorini professionally taken by people who know exactly what you are asking for.

How to book your travel photographer in Greece with Picturo

At this point, I would like to make a confession; I have the attention span of a stray cat with ADHD. What’s my point? I can get very easily frustrated and give up when a platform makes it really hard for me.

Thankfully, that is not the case with Picturo. I would say quite the opposite, actually. With only a few clicks, you are able to see all the available photographers on your preferred destination. You can check their photography styles, compare prices, and book a session, all in the same page! 

You can also contact the photographer directly through the website or through their social media, phone or whatsapp. I believe that is very helpful, because you are able to connect and share your vision beforehand. If you don’t “click” (see what I did there?) with that one artist, it is extremely easy to find a new one.

But how easy is it really? You visit their website, select “destinations”, pick the destination of your choice, and that’s pretty much it! You will find a detailed map with all the available photographers and everything you might need to know about them. 

What I really appreciated about their website is that they also offer a list of the “popular hotspots” of every place. Who wouldn’t need to know the best places to take photographs in the island of Santorini or the cosmopolitan streets of Mykonos without walking around for countless hours?

Final Thoughts

I really believe that Picturo caters to an existing need; It doesn’t matter if you are an influencer, blogger, tourist, or just a local. In my opinion, photographs are the best souvenir you can take home from a memorable experience, and make it last forever. And for me, that’s the magic
